Seth MacFarlane splits from his girlfriend Emilia Clarke, and a long distance relationship is to blame. According to the LA Times on March 20, McFarlane and "Game of Thrones" star Clarke split up, although they remain friends.
Clarke is in Europe, where "Game of Thrones" is shot and he is in California working on his plethora of projects and the relationship just didn't work with them on different continents. The two were first seen together at the Emmy Awards in 2012 and were seen together a great deal after that.
It seemed they were getting along marvelously, as MacFarlane referred to her as a supremely talented person and also called her the hardest working person he knew. While that is a great trait to have, it is not helpful in relationships, which might explain the Seth MacFarlane split.
While MacFarlane continues to work on his animated show "Family Guy" and assorted movie options, Clarke continues to work hard on the popular HBO television series, has plans for some photos from an upcoming GQ photo shoot and will act in the Broadway revival of "Breakfast at Tiffany's"
The Seth MacFarlane split is sad, but it looks like both celebrities will be just fine in the long run.
