For Seth MacFarlane, it's been a big year but now this talent is going it alone without love Emilia Clarke. According to a March 19 report from E!, the 2013 Academy Awards host has broken up with the "Game of Thrones" thespian who plays Daenerys Targaryen.
This could explain why Emilia showed up solo at her HBO show's premiere last night at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Apparently, if reports are accurate, long distances between the 25-year-old actress and the 39-year-old "Family Guy" head honcho are partially to blame for the end of this relationship that started in 2012.
After all, "Game of Thrones" shoots in a slew of European destinations, including Northern Ireland, Morocco, Malta, and Iceland. Meanwhile, Seth MacFarland works mainly from home base in Los Angeles.
To make matters more complicated from a geographic perspective, English actress Emilia Clarke just started a stint on Broadway playing the iconic ingénue Holly Golightly. She is on the boards at Manhattan's Cort Theatre in a stage adaptation of Truman Capote's beloved "Breakfast at Tiffany's."
And so, as each of these huge personalities take on big parts on either side of the United States, Seth MacFarlane and Emilia have gone to splitsville despite a good run as boyfriend and girlfriend for the past six months.
