It was less than a year ago when we witnessed the horrific images of a submerged roller coaster nesting below the oceanfront in Seaside Heights (Ocean County), as well as the several images of houses and businesses broken like matchsticks and scattered throughout the beach shoreline. Unfortunately, these images are still fresh in our minds. Not to mention, the most recent disaster of a torched shoreline casting fiery, red flames and billowing thick, black smoke across the horizon.
Due to the recent fire on the Jersey Shore, local businesses are in great need of finance and marketing strategies in recovery of the devastation.
The New Jersey Small Business Development Center will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting at Brookdale Community College on September 25th between 2:00 to 3:30pm. Seth Godin, marketing guru, will be speaking to the Sandy impacted businesses that has been greatly affected by Hurricane Sandy and most recently the fire that has completely destroyed the boardwalk. Godin is an author of 17 books from around the globe. He is also the founder of the website: http://www.squidoo.com
Godin, named the "Ultimate Entrepreneur for the Information Age" in Business Week, will bring encouragement and hope to rebuilding the region. He will also bring his marketing expertise to entrepreneurs in a post-Sandy business world for both their existing customers and potential customer base.
