SETH FREEMAN CD RELEASE PARTY WITH THE CODY RENTAS BAND AT THE TRIPLE DOOR SEATTLE JAN 2. 730pm

Seth has played the guitar since the age of four, and was taught by his grandfather, dad, and Jim Turner and later by Paul Travis, one of the areas leading instructors. Growing up in a musical family, Seth is a third generation guitar player in his family. Family reunions consisted of big circles of musicians playing bluegrass and old gospel hymns. Seth used to teach guitar lessons in his spare time, but now spends most of his time on the road. In addition to guitar, Seth also plays the drums, bass, lap steel, piano, mandolin, weissenborn and dobro.

Seth stops the crowd and causes lots of dropped jaws when he plays and his command of the instruments is awe inspiring for sure. He had two blue grass champions for grand dads and his dad is an excellent songwriter as well as guitarist and vocalist. He is getting regular comparisons to Hendrix and SRV for good reason.

The young and talented Cody Rentas and his band from Tacoma opens.

7:30pm, Thurs, Jan. 2nd at the Triple Door, Seattle.

216 Union Street
