Set the mood with Old School R&B music for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is not Valentine’s Day unless you set the mood with the right music.

For those getting prepared for the big day make sure you have some good music in order to get the evening started off right.

For some of the youngsters out there this doesn’t mean music that features body parts, flipping someone upside down and placing them face down in a pillow. Instead it’s music that sets the mood for romance.

For the lovers of old school (by the way there are some young people who love old school R&B music too) you know just what to put on in order to get the right response.

For those who don’t here is a list of some mood setting R&B songs that will definitely make your Valentine melt.

You can never go wrong with:

Marvin Gaye's “Let’s get it On” or “Sexual Healing”
Anita Baker “Giving You the Best That I Got” or “Sweet Love”
Teddy Pendergrass “Turn Off the Lights” or “Close the Door”

Luther Vandross and “Here and Now” or “Never too Much”
The Isley Brothers and “Between the Sheets” or “For the Love of You”
Christopher Williams “If You Say You Will Be Mine” or “Dance for Me”

The list goes on and on but these are a few songs that will definitely make your Valentine’s Day or Night one to remember.
