At their latest concert in Brisbane, Australia on their current Pacific Rim tour on Monday, Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band, as expected, showed off lots of hits and familiar songs.
According to setlist.fm, the Brisbane show began with Ringo singing “Matchbox” and “It Don't Come Easy,” followed by “Wings” from “Ringo 2012.” Todd Rundgren took the first guest spot with “I Saw the Light,” then brought on Gregg Rolie with “Evil Ways,” who introduced Steve Lukather with “Rosanna,” who, in turn, set the stage for Richard Page with “Kyrie.”
Ringo came back with “Don't Pass Me By,” followed by Rundgren and “Bang the Drum Slowly,” then Ringo again with “Boys” and “Yellow Submarine.” Next came Rolie with “Black Magic Woman,” Ringo with “Anthem” from “Ringo 2012,” then Richard Page sang “You Are Mine” the new song that he debuted last summer in the U.S.
Next came Ringo with “Honey Don't,” Lukather with “Africa,” Rolie with “Everybody's Everything,” Ringo with “I Wanna Be Your Man,” Rundgren with “Love Is the Answer” and Page with “Broken Wings.”
Now into the home stretch, Ringo sang “Act Naturally,” Lukather sang “Hold the Line,” and Ringo ended the show with “Photograph” and a medley of “With a Little Help From My Friends” and “Give Peace a Chance.”
According to setlist.fm, the 2013 shows so far have used identical setlists and they looked pretty much like it did in the U.S. last summer. In comparison to last summer's U.S. tour, only one Ringo song was different. He took out “I'm the Greatest,” and added in “Honey Don't” this time around.
The tour continues with shows in Australia until Feb. 21, then moves to Japan Feb. 25 for the final shows that continue through early March.
