Today in Edinburgh, Scotland, Oakvale Funeral Home in Whitehouse Loan held a remembrance service for the three Buddhist Monks who passed away on Christmas Eve.
The Buddhist community is mourning for the losses of Abbot Phramaha Pranom Thongphaiboon (43), the head of the Thai Buddhist community in Aberdeen, and colleagues Phramaha Kriangkrai Khamsamrong (35) and Phramaha Chai Boonma (36).
The men were believed to be en route to the Dhammapadipa Temple in Edinburgh, when the three were involved in a head-on collision on A69 near Patthead, Midlothian.
The three men have offered their services to Scotland and the Thai community in the UK for the past four or five years. The whole of the UK is experiencing a big loss at their deaths.
