On Monday, the Gainesville Police Department released a sketch of a man they believe responsible for urinating on several young women on or near the University of Florida campus.

Since late February, seven women have reported being urinated upon, according to police.

In all of the cases, the suspect has approached them from behind.

The Gainesville Sun reported:

The more recent incidents happened in the 100-200 blocks of Northwest 17th Street and the 900 block of West University Avenue across from the UF campus. When the victims confronted the suspect, he exposed himself and then ran off.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male, 25 to 30-years-old, around 6' tall, with a medium to chunky build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and baggy jeans.

Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call Detective S. Bertzyk at 393-7657.
