World No. 1 tennis player Serena Williams is making headlines off the court.

The 17-time Grand Slam champion was recently photographed crashing a newlywed's wedding on a Miami, Fl. beach Saturday—clad in a leopard print bathing suit.

Williams had plenty of downtime after her shocking second-round French Open loss to Garbine Muguruza of Spain in late May. In a post-match press conference she vowed to up her game.

"I'm going to go home and work five times as hard to make sure I never lose again," Williams said.

But before getting back to the grind, Serena took a little time to enjoy some fun-in-the-sun with tennis star and gal pal Caroline Wozniacki. The two strolled the sandy shores of a beach in Miami and happened upon the wedding festivities of a newlywed couple.

Apparently Williams couldn't resist a photo op, and surrounded by the wedding party, posed for pictures with the happy couple—bathing suit and all.

Serena posted the photo on her Instagram account with the title: "Wedding Crasher!! Congrats!" Commentary from followers was mixed as many found her actions and attire to be inappropriate.

After her break at the beach, Williams is sure to shift her focus back to her on-court game in preparation for Wimbledon later this month. But let the field beware, Serena will likely be in rare form. For she will be a champion with something to prove.
