Tennis star Serena Williams is a winner on the tennis court, but she found herself trying to maneuver a different kind of tricky situation at the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic on Friday, when she was busted for attempting to photograph golf great Tiger Woods, according to a Mar. 1 Reuters report.
PGA Tour rules mandate no photos or videos of competitors by the spectators on competition days. Williams apparently was not thinking about the rules. According to USA Today, a tournament official standing nearby tried to stop the tennis star from taking the photo, but he may have been a second too late.
As any normal celebrity would, the star tweeted about the eventful encounter.
“Ok at this Golf tournament. Just saw @TigerWoods I understand NO golf Apparently u can't take pics. This security for mad and yelled at me”
“Apparently u can't take pictures of golfers. In my Defense peeps always take pics of tennis players.”
She did eventually mange to obtain and post a photo of Woods, which she posted to Twitter.
