Sepulchral Primordial is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards spoiled today Jan. 15, 2013 from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert expansion set "Gatecrash." Revealed in an article by Adam Styborski on MagicTheGathering.com, Sepulchral Primordial is a powerhouse in Commander where there are multiple opponents.
Sepulchral Primordial - 5BB
Creature - Avatar (Rare)
When Sepulchral Primordial enters the battlefield, for each opponent, you may put up to one target creature card from that player's graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.
In Sepulchral Primordial's case, you'll get to steal the best creature from every opponent's graveyard. It's a neat card to sideboard in the reanimator mirror, allowing you to steal that Angel of Serenity or Griselbrand they just discarded to Faithless Looting before they have to chance to cast Unburial Rites.
Even if there aren't any good targets for Sepulchral Primordial to bring back to life you'll still be able to break through their blockers thanks to Intimidate. That helps make this creature an imposing threat, especially in limited formats.
How will you use Sepulchral Primordial?
