Septemberfest in Schaumburg is celebrating its 40th anniversary on Labor Day weekend, from September 4-6, 2010. The festival features great bands, arts & crafts, carnival rides, food at Taste of Schaumburg and family friendly entertainment. Admission to the festival is free.
Special events includes the fireworks show on Saturday night and the parade on Monday at 10:00 a.m. There will be a variety of local entertainers and attractions. The headlining entertainment includes The Ides of March featuring Jim Peterik, The Buckinghams, 7th Heaven, Foghat, Second Time Around and the Gin Blossoms.
Taste of Schaumburg, featuring food from local restaurants, runs on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. To 10:00 p.m. Participating restaurants, listed on the Schaumburg website, include: Bonefish, Culvers, Bon Appetit, Canton Chef, Cold Stone, Dan Thai, Dominos, Express Shop Cafe, Fox and Hound, Fuddruckers, Jamba Juice, Jersey Mikes, John Barleycorn, Krystynas, Littly Cicily Pizzeria, Lou Malnati's, Mad Mark's Mystic Pizza, Mario's, Panda Express, P.F. Chang's, Rosebud, Stir Crazy, Texas de Brazil, The Melting Pot, Millrose and Lu's Mandarin.

Sunday: 7th Heaven 6-7:30 p.m. And Foghat 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.
Monday : Second Time Around at 5:00 – 6:15 p.m. And Gin Blossoms 7:30 – 9:00 p.m.
The location of Septemberfest is 101 Schaumburg Road (Schaumburg Rd. at Summit Dr.,) There is no parking at the Septemberfest grounds, but there will be shuttles from parking lots in the vicinity.
