On Thursday, September 26, the Publicity Club of New England is co-hosting a must-attend networking event, Last Thursday, at The Bell in Hand Tavern with March Communications.

We’re excited to announce that Larry Weber will be the evening’s guest speaker. Larry founded The Weber Group (now Weber Shandwick), Racepoint and Digital Influence Group, and co-founded MITX. A frequent speaker on the future of marketing and author, Larry is currently working on his fifth book, The Digital Marketer: Ten New Skills You Must Learn to Stay Relevant and Customer-Centric due out Spring 2014.

Larry will discuss “Social Media 2.0,” and will chart the evolution of social media networks from standalone, haphazard communications channels to fully integrated elements of powerful PR campaigns. He'll discuss effective content marketing strategies for social media today, as well as different platforms that can help businesses take social to the next level.

This event is the one-year anniversary of March's proud tradition, Last Thursday, which was started in September 2012 to create an informal monthly networking event for fellow members of the Boston technology, PR and media communities.
