As summer rolls into autumn, children go back to school, leaves fall, and the heat and humidity of August disappear with the last days of summer. September brings perfect running temperatures, and there are an abundance of races going on in the greater New York City area this month to take advantage of this weather. Whether you are looking to participate in a charity event, remember the 8th anniversary of September 11th, participate in a NYC Marathon qualifier, or test your endurance in a longer distance race, there is something for everyone. Check out what's going on.
