September Chicago LEGO Store events
At 5:00 on Tuesday, September 7, kids ages 6 to 14 can attend the free monthly mini model build. In honor of Back to School season, this month's mini model is a boy with a backpack, designed by Ethan, the 7-year-old winner of last year's Mini Model Build Contest.
From Sunday, September 12 to Thursday, September 16, children can visit stores to play the new Harry Potter Hogwarts LEGO Game. The latest in the line of creative LEGO Games that require players to design and build the game board themselves, this family game for 2 to 4 players ages 8 and up allows people to move Harry Potter and his friends through the moving staircases and secret passageways of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to collect their homework from the classrooms for Potions, Charms, Divination, and Transfiguration.
From Monday, September 20 to Thursday, September 23, kids can come to stores to test out Design By Me at the Master Builder Bar. Staff will tutor children in how to use this LEGO-building program, which can be used to enter this year's Mini Model Build Contest.
The project at the September 2010 LEGO Club Meeting is to build a hero for Hero Factory.
