SPCA of Texas' Dealey Animal Care Center

Skeeter is a 5-year-old Clumber Spaniel mix who was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on August 3. He's a quiet boy, but he is also studious as he has learned to "sit" since he arrived here, and he can’t wait to learn other new things. He is also a little timid at first, but if you’ll just spend a little time talking to him, he promises he will warm up and his tail will start wagging. So, why don’t you shoot on down here and give Skeeter a chance to be your new forever pal. If you like quiet, steady pals, he is just the boy for you. He is also very well-mannered, and he is such a sweetheart that he even got to go to the T.V. station! How would you like to take home a star?! Come visit Skeeter today. Skeeter is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because he has been waiting for his new, loving home since August 3, and he has a special adoption price of $50! #11157957

Mighty is a unique cat with a unique name. He's an 18-month-old, male, Domestic Shorthair tabby. His colors are black and grey, and are really beautiful. He's a classic "swirl" tabby which means he has wide stripes on his back that give him a very unique appearance. Not to mention, he is mighty playful! He can keep you, and himself, entertained for hours with a few strings, balls of foil or bells. He's a pretty simple guy. Mighty was transferred to the SPCA of Texas back on August 9 to find his new family. He is housetrained and very friendly. Sometimes, he is a little energetic, and he play-bites when he gets too excited. But don't worry, he would never hurt anyone. Do you have some extra attention to give a mighty cat like him? #11198935

Nova is a 1-year old, female, black, Lab mix, and at the moment, she's looking for a new, forever home. Because he was moving, her owner brought her here to the SPCA of Texas on July 24. If you’ll come to visit Nova, you’ll see that like all her Lab kinfolk, she's a very sweet, intelligent girl who loves adults and children, and she just knows she'd be a great addition to your family. She would love to take morning walks with you, and after that you can cuddle and play, especially if you’ll rub her ears. She really loves that! Nova is an active girl who needs a little training, but she already knows how to "sit" especially when treats are involved. Please come visit this super Nova today at the SPCA of Texas in Dallas! Nova is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because she has been waiting for her forever home since July 24, and she has a special adoption price of $50! #11090412

Twyla is a pretty 9-month-old, Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on July 12 to find her new family. If you come visit her, she will probably crawl right up into your lap so y'all can snuggle, and she can show you how much love she has to give! You'll never question her affection for you! She's a young and playful gal who would do best with an active family that will take her running or on walks. She's energetic, loving and ready to go home with you! She hopes to meet you soon! Twyla is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because she has been waiting for her new, forever home since July 12, and she has a special adoption price of $50! #10945472

Forrest is quite the distinguished, older gentleman. He is a 16-year-old, black, Domestic Shorthair mix with a laid back and friendly attitude. He would prefer to spend his golden years in a home without any other cats or small children. He is avery vocal kitty because he has a lot to say for as many years as he has been around. It just means he is very wise and mature.... and he's an old geezer so he's allowed to talk as much as he pleases! His owners brought him to the SPCA of Texas on April 29 because they were having issues with their landlord. Do you have a good retirement home for a sweet, older guy? Forrest is well worth it, and he has been waiting very patiently for you! at the Dealey Animal Care Center in Dallas. Forrest is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because he has been waiting for his new home since April 29, and he has a special adoption price of $50! #10308068

June is a tiny little female, Siamese with brown tabby markings. She's a very unique girl, don't you think? She is only two months old and weighs just two pounds! She has beautiful, green, eyes and a cute, brown nose too. She was brought to the SPCA of Texas on July 3 because her previous owner was not able to give her the proper care she deserved. She is very curious and always looking for something to play with. Right now, string seems to be her toy of choice, but most anything would do the trick. She has lots of personality, so much so that she was even on the radio! That's right, she got to be a DJ for a day. Do you have some time and a forever home to give DJ June? #10885159

Bella is a 6-year-old, Lab Retriever mix looking for a loving home. She's a very happy-go-lucky, friendly, girl who was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on August 18 because her owners were having issues with their landlord, and they could no longer keep her. Bella is a very smart girl, and is already houstrained, and she gets along very well with children, other dogs and even cats! You could definitely call her a social butterfly. She may be a bit more on the mature side, but she still has plently of playful, puppy years left in her! After all, she is part Lab. So please come down to visit her at the SPCA of Texas in McKinney soon. #6958704

Jagger is an adorable, brown and black Domestic Shorthair kitty. As you can see, he's a huge cuddle bug! Jagger and his friend, Maddy (on the left), have both been waiting for their forever homes very patiently! His owner surrendered him to the SPCA of Texas on April 24 because they were moving. He is a very sweet boy, but may be a little shy at first. He would do best in a home without children as they tend to scare quiet kitties like himself. He looks forward to filling his days with hanging out and relaxing in a quiet environment. He is five years old and weighs 12 pounds. He is great one-on-one, but he tends to get a little anxious in big crowds. Come and give Jagger a pet today, you won't be able to keep your paws off him! He is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because he has been waiting for his new, loving, home since April 24, and he has a special adoption price of $50! #10277906

Miss Kitty is very pleased to meet you. She's a 7-year-old, Domestic Shorthair, grey and white tabby who was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on January 13 because her owner had too many animals. She's a very friendly and affectionate girl who loves attention! She also likes to let you know what is on her mind, so she is a great companion if you need someone to talk to. Miss Kitty is also a really good listener, and she will comfort you by trying to fit her entire body in your lap! She also may need your help learning how to balance her diet. What can she say, she's an emotional eater. Please come visit her soon. She has been waiting so so so long for you! Miss Kitty is also a V.I.P. Bruno is a big, lovable German Shepherd mix, and he's almost 18 months old. He has sweet, sensitive brown eyes and an irresistible smile. And just look at that tongue, he loves to give lots and lots of kisses. He was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on August 24 because his owners were having allergy problems and could no longer keep him. They brought him here to find his new, loving home, and he just knows he'll find another wonderful family who will give him just that! He's a very smart boy who is already housebroken, crate trained and he walks well on a leash. He is also very friendly, and he loves children, other dogs and even cats. He's the total package! He may seem a little shy at first, but he just needs a little confidence boost, and with your help, he will come out of his shell in no time. He's a very well-mannered boy who is extremely loving and just wants to cuddle and play all day long. Please come visit him soon at the SPCA of Texas! #8918968

Cole is a 2-year-old, Schnauzer mix with a happy, Terrier-like, scruffy face and fluffy, droopy ears. He is a super sweet boy with tons of personality and love to offer a wonderful family. Cole was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on August 12, and he can't wait to find his new home. He's a very social boy, and he loves playing with the other dogs in the play yard and in the kiddie pool. He's a very smart boy, and he already knows where to go to the bathroom and he can "sit" on command! If you are looking for a handsome, playful, loving pup, Cole is your man. Come see him soon at the SPCA of Texas! #11220238

Although he doesn't have any friends named Winnie, I think his previous owners named him Tigger due to his beautiful, orange tabby coat and big yellow eyes! Tigger is a super-friendly, lovable kitty who is really calm, and loves to be petted. Being the mature, five year old that he is, he enjoys sitting and observing his surroundings. He is especially good with dogs but would probably be better in a family with older children and no cats. And if you haven't noticed, one of his favorite activities is eating, so he may need your help when it comes to a balanced diet. He hides it well, doesn't he? His owners surrendered him to the SPCA of Texas on June 1 because they were moving. Tigger is also ready to move on and would love to join your, loving family. Tigger is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) because he has been waiting for his new, loving, home since June 1, and he has a special adoption price of $50! #10647766
