It is summer and nothing can be as pleasant as a cruise on a body of water to beat the summer heat. What can make that experience even more enjoyable is doing it for a good cause. September 9thyou can enjoy a Day Cruise aboard the Emita II while supporting the Manlius Historical Society!
This is a great opportunity to learn some of the history of the Erie Canal by listening to riveting tales of the canal as told by Captain Dan Wiles of the Mid-Lakes Navigation Company.
You will also be able to take in views of historic sites along the canal from Oswego to Syracuse while enjoying a continental breakfast, buffet lunch and snack.
Departure on the bus will be from at Dutchman's Landing in Baldwinsville at 8:30am, returning to Dutchman's Landing at 5pm. The cost: $105 per passenger and all seats *must be booked in advance.
