On September 6, Albuquerque’s own Launchpad hosts Edith, Black Maria, Owl, and The Lymbs. Doors for this 21+ show open at 8 p.m., with the show scheduled from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Entry is $7 but is subject to change at the door.

Hailing from Albuquerque, The Lymbs describe their sounds as “the combination of genres [that] has allowed artists to create new ideas worthy of an intellectual society.” Their sound pays homage to the blues players and rockers of the late 1960s but also mixes the ideas present in modern digital movements.
Around since 1997, Albuquerque’s Launchpad has played host to bands of numerous genres, including punk, indie rock, and metal. The Launchpad is located on 618 Central Avenue Southwest, which is between 6th and 7th streets.
