September 13 is Friday the Thirteenth, and to celebrate Native Entertainment Magazine and Forbidden Path Musick present “Friday the 13th Murder Fest,” which showcases the following bands: Abolishment of Flesh, Left to Rot, Endless Infection, Echoes of Fallen, and End to End. This PG event kicks off at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door ($5 if you are in full costume) or $7 online.
Hailing from the high plains of West Texas, Abolishment of Flesh play a brutal combination of death, black, and thrash metal. The band is currently in the studio working on new material.
Formed in 2004, Left to Rot hail from Laguna, New Mexico. These dudes are known for their dense guitar rhythms, blast beats, and harsh vocals. The band’s debut EP is titled Bathe in Blood, which they followed up with the full-length studio CD Crown of Deception.
Albuquerque’s Endless Infection play blackened death metal. The band is presently working on a demo.
Hailing from Belen and Albuquerque, Echoes of Fallen play a combination of ripping death metal and punishing grindcore. The band’s self-titled demo was released in 2007.
