Anime publisher Sentai Filmworks confirmed earlier today, that it has acquired “Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! - Heart Throb-” for release in North America.

“Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! -Heart Throb-” is the direct follow up to the “Love, Chinibyo and Other Delusions!” first season, produced by Kyoto Animation (K-On!), based on the series of light novels written by Torako and illustrated by Nozomi Osaka. The second season is directed by Tatsuya Ishihara (Clannad) and features series composition by Jukki Hanada (Special A) and art direction from Mutsuo Shinohara (Kanon).

The series once again follows Yuta Togashi, the protagonist of the first season, whose troubles don’t seem to be subsiding just yet. Dealing with one delusional girlfriend, Rikka, was bad enough for poor Yuta, but now Satone Shichimiya, Yuta’s former “one true soul mate” comes back into his life. Satone just might be crazier than everyone else in Yuta’s world combined, and she’ll do anything to get him back.

“Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions! -Heart Throb-” will be available through select digital outlets soon, it made its Japanese debut last month. Sentai Filmworks also has plans for a home video release to follow, but no official release details have been given at this time. The first season will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on May 27, 2014.
