On Nov. 23, a senior Chihuahua named "Romeo," was left at the Los Angeles Animal Care and Control facility in Baldwin Park, Calif.
An animal control facility is no place for a 12-year-old dog...when Romeo's breed is factored in, the situation becomes even more precarious; Chihuahuas are one of the most commonly dumped dogs in the "shelter" system.
The following was shared about this sweet senior:
My owner left me here on November 23 (available 11/29/13). I have no teeth and am in isolation so the public does not see me.
Is there a person out there who has a soft spot for a toothless, senior Chihuahua? Someone who is willing to offer a soft bed, good food and unlimited love?
Perhaps, but only if Romeo's information is networked so that the one, special person can be found.
