A few short days before Christmas, an elderly dog slipped away from her home in the small town of Corydon, Ind., and she has not been seen since.
The dog, an 11-year-old Schnauzer named "Candi," is diabetic and she requires two shots each day - suffice to say, her family is devastated and worried about her well-being.
Since Candi's disappearance on Sunday night, from her home on Housefield Road, N.W., her family has worked to put up flyers in the area and they have alerted the postal carrier - but, the senior dog has not yet been found.
Candi is described as "very timid." She was wearing a black collar, without tags, at the time that she disappeared, but she is microchipped.
Anyone who has spotted Candi, or who has any information about her, is asked to call: 812-738-2125 or 502-645-7120. A $100 reward is offered for Candi's safe return.
