The Clarion Project, formerly known as the Clarion Fund Inc., an independently funded, non-profit organization dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islamic extremism while providing a platform for the voices of moderation and promoting grassroots activism reported on the tweet.
The Clarion Project reported that Elibiary, not only says that America is “an Islamic country” but that he also continues to argue that the Muslim Brotherhood is comparable to Christian evangelicals, despite the crack-down and persecution of Christians in Egypt and in other regions, by the Muslim Brotherhood.
During a tweet session, Elibiary said in response in arguing with a concerned U.S. citizen, “America and yes, I do consider the United States of America an Islamic country with an islamically compliant constitution. Move On!”
The concerns about Mohamed Elibiary and his background and relationships with known terrorists was reported on October 10, 2013 where the Clarion Project, the Center for Security Policy, and the Institute on Religion and Democracy published a lengthy report in which Elibiary is a prime mover behind two of the Obama administration’s most dangerous policies.
Those two policies are normalizing relations with domestic and foreign Islamist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood, and severely restricting enforcement of the nation’s laws governing material support for terrorism.
The report also stated that Elibiary received significant attention when Reps. Michele Bachmann, Trent Franks, Louie Gohmert, Tom Rooney, and Lynn Westmoreland drew upon research conducted by the Center for Security Policy in writing letters about the US Muslim Brotherhood.
The Obama administration and their closeness to radical Islamist like Elibiary and the removal of anything in relation to radical Islam in America from law enforcement manuals and training prompted Brigitte Gabriel and her organization, ACT! for America for create a program called the, “Thin Blue Line Project”.
The "Thin Blue Line Project" is intended to give law enforcement agencies the tools and information they need in recognizing and combating radical Islam.
Brigitte Gabriel, President of ACT! for America said in creating the program, “Unfortunately, thanks to suffocating political correctness in our country, most law enforcement professionals aren’t getting the information, materials and training they need to effectively understand and fight Islamist terrorism.”
