Update 4/26/14: Sinclair has a rescue pending!!
Frightening words have been issued for a senior boxer/mastiff mix who is at the Dekalb Animal Control in Decatur, Ga.
The dog's name is "Sinclair," and he has until closing (5 p.m. EST) on Saturday to be rescued. The following information has been shared about Sinclair:
Sinclair is a 105# senior Mastiff mix at the shelter. He has some arthritis in his back end as well as a tumor in his mouth (along with some smaller tumors along his body). He is also heartworm positive. He would like a rescue to take him so he can live out whatever days he has left in a home.
On Sinclair's Facebook thread, there is an offer from a rescue agency to take him in, but only if a long-term foster home can be located. Anyone who is interested in fostering this handsome elder can complete a foster application here.
Other offers to rescue can be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org
