Sendik's Markets bring back daily sales

Balistreri’s Sendik’s Markets have brought back their “Seven Days” sales. Starting February 6th, you can reap special bargains, depending on the day of the week you shop. These sales will run until their end is announced in a Sendik’s weekly flyer; in the past, they have run for four to six weeks.

Here’s what you can get on the different days of the week:

On Mondays, you can buy Sendik’s Black Forest ham or roasted turkey breast for $3.99 a pound (there’s a limit of five pounds each).

On Tuesdays, Sendik’s Natural ground chuck, in the value pack, is $2.49 a pound, with a limit of six pounds. (And this week only-- February 6th through 12th-- they are also having a sale on Bush’s chili or kidney beans, at 75¢ per can, in case you want to use that ground chuck to make chili.)

On Wednesdays, Turbana bananas are 29¢ a pound, with a limit of ten pounds. Fyffes fresh pineapples are $2 each, with a limit of four.

On Thursdays, gallons of Sendik’s milk are $2 each, with a limit of four gallons. This includes their whole milk and their chocolate milk.

On Fridays, with Lent in mind, there are fish specials. Wild-caught Alaska cod fillets are $3.99 per pound, with a limit of ten pounds, and fresh tilapia is $4.99 per pound with a limit of five pounds.

On Saturdays, one-pound packages of strawberries are three for $5, with a limit of six.

And on Sundays, you can purchase pork ribs at $2.99 per pound, boneless pork chops at $1.99 per pound, and pork shoulder at $1.69 per pound. In all three instances, this is for the Value Pack, and there is a limit of three.

These sales are in effect at all eleven of the Balistrerie's Sendik's stores. Plan your shopping excursions accordingly.
