According to the email invitation, McCain will be speaking on current affairs in the United States and abroad.

McCain is serving his fifth term in the United States Senate. He also served 22 years in the U.S. Navy and has received many honors, including the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross. McCain was a POW in North Vietnam for five and a half years. In 2008, McCain was the winner of the Republican nomination for president.
