For years homosexuals faced tremendous discrimination in the work place. That is likely to change. The U.S. Senate is close to passing legislation that would prohibit discrimination against gay working people.
"I think this is long overdue. For too many years gay working people have faced hostility and outright abuse at work. I am glad this will change," said Lisa Stein.
"I am glad there will be legislation protecting homosexuals. People should feel safe and secure while they are at work. Discrimination in any form is bad," said Kevin Stocker.
"This legislation will be good. I really hope people's hearts change. No one should feel fear because of their sexual orientation," said Bruce Warden.
