Just this afternoon, June 17, 2014, the Sandigan Bayan released an HDO against Senator Bong Revilla, one of the accused in the Php10B PDAF Scam which was allegedly maneuvered by Janet Lim Napoles. Based on the report, Janet Lim Napoles is the main player of the scam, but according to her lawyer, the court should realize that his client is not a mastermind.

He challenged the Ombudsman and Sandigan Bayan to re-study the PDAF case to know who really the masterminds are. Anyway, the HDO’s against Sens. Bong Revilla, Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada and Atty. Gigi Reyes have already been released by the Sandigan Bayan this afternoon to prevent their scuttle.

Meanwhile, in an interview with reporters this morning, Sen. Bong Revilla’s lawyer confirmed that his client is expecting the Sandigan Bayan to release an HDO against him. He added that his client is very much willing to prove his innocence in court, but he also admitted that Bong Revilla is now planning to ask for a house arrest.

And speaking of house arrest, his co-accused in the Php10B Plunder case filed by the Ombudsman, Jinggoy Estrada, also admitted that he is ready to face the charges, according to him, the PNP detention cell is enough for him. Jinggoy has only one wish if he will be arrested by the NBI or the PNP, he said he wants to bring a TV set in his detention cell.

Incidentally, the Sandigan Bayan is still weighing the Plunder Case, according to the report, said branch of government has only 10 days to examine and determine if there is a probable cause. Some observers are already bored, they said, the justices should release the arrest warrants against the accused, they also revealed their objections to the reported possible detention cell of the accused, according to them, the senators and Atty. Gigi Reyes should be in jail very soon but not at the PNP detention cell.
