Sen. Bong Revilla together with Atty. Richard Cambe will spend his first night in jail at the PNP Custodial Center at Camp Crame in Quezon City. As you all know, he has voluntarily surrendered to the authorities this morning, June 20, 2014 to face the Plunder Case filed by the Ombudsman to the Sandigan Bayan.

Bong Revilla was turned emotional when he left his ancestral house in Bacoor, Cavite this morning, according to the report; his supporters were also seen crying while the actor-politician was leaving. In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Cong. Lani Mercado-Revilla, wife of Sen. Bong Revilla, admitted that the controversial PDAF Scam is her family’s biggest trial, but she immediately wipe her tears and revealed that her family will fight until the end.

Meanwhile, before the senator from Cavite decided make a convoy to surrender himself to the Sandigan Bayan, he had an emotional press conference yesterday in front of his supporters who chose to support him despite the evidences for the Plunder Case gathered by the Ombudsman. The senator insisted that he is innocent and had nothing to do with the alleged PDAF Scam which was allegedly aggregated and maneuvered by Janet Lim Napoles.

Sen. Bong Revilla added that he is ready to go to jail if and when the arrest warrant will be issued by the Sandigan Bayan against him. But like what the reports said, he made a convoy and decided to go to the court this morning to prove that he is sincere when he said he is ready to go to jail.

Aside from Sen. Bong Revilla who will be sleeping inside the PNP Custodial Center this evening, his co-accused, Sens. Jinggoy Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile will also be in jail next week if the Sandigan Bayan will find probable cause on the Plunder Case filed by the Ombudsman and issued arrest warrants against them.
