An educational horse seminar meeting is planned for April 16, 2014, at the Lyndon Community Center in Lyndon, Kansas. Horse industry representatives – owners, trainers, farriers and all with interest or occupation involving horses – will enjoy the scheduled topics being discussed on Wednesday evening.
Of particular importance to horse devotees to be discussed are infectious diseases and their prevention, vaccines, first aid, accident prevention and care and the value of good horse dental care.
Assistant Professor Chris Blevins, DVM, who is from the equine field services of Kansas State University, is the featured speaker. Blevins brings years of expertise to the session.
Audience questions are encouraged based on available time.
