SEMA 2010 gallery: the Ford display

Ford Motor Company’s large display at the SEMA Show has become a mainstay, welcoming attendees into the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall with an area that runs the width of the massive building.  While other manufacturers (Mopar, General Motors) offer large, popular displays; the layout of the Ford area makes it literally impossible to miss.

Ford teased us leading up the 2010 SEMA Show with drawings of Mustangs, Fiestas, Explorers and F-series pickups that would adorn the Ford SEMA display but as has been the case in prior years, the mighty Mustang was Ford’s show-stopper.  The gallery on the left gives you a good look at the trucks, SUVs and economy models but at the SEMA Show, power is the main focus and with that in mind, the Mustang area of Ford’s display was once again the largest and most popular portion for the Motor Company.

Along with a spread of modified Mustangs, Ford had a pair of production-spec 2012 Boss Mustangs tucked behind a curtain – re-revealing the Boss 302 and Boss 302 Laguna Seca Edition every so often in their artfully lit black room.  Ford even had a vintage Mustang-styled pool table that is being raffled off with regular exhibitions by pool pro Allison Fisher alongside Vaughn Gittin Jr’s sexy custom vintage Mustang.

Over the next week, I will be offering more in-depth looks at some of the most exciting vehicles from the Ford display but for the time being, enjoy the gallery on the left, which offers an overview of what Ford Motor Company brought out to the 2010 SEMA Show.
