Thursday evening marks the debut of an exciting new concept in charitable giving with the launch of SELFLESS, a Chicago-based organization with the vision to create a worldwide culture of selfless living and a mission to make that vision a reality – to make giving back feel less like an obligation and more like an organic part of our everyday lives.
SELFLESS pairs a select group of reputable charities with hundreds of online and local businesses that offer attractive perks to members. In doing so, SELFLESS members can enjoy benefits and discounts at some of their favorite restaurants, spas, gyms and other businesses while contributing to charities they stand behind.
So how does it work?
SELFLESS is able to offer to special perks to supporters through a $9 a month commitment, whereby 80% of that cost goes directly to a Cause of your choice.
SELFLESS believes that in curating both aid organizations and incredible bargains, giving back can develop into more than just a New Year’s resolution, a feel-good activity around the holidays, or a tax write-off – it embodies a SELFLESS mentality for this generation and sets a charitable example for those beyond.
The SELFLESS Launch Party happens tonight at the Godfrey Hotel’s beautiful rooftop space.
