Self-Defense and Personal Protection Clinic in the South Hills of Pittsburgh

A two day women’s personal protection and self-defense seminar will be offered in the South Park Fairgrounds near Pittsburgh.  This comprehensive hands-on seminar, hosted by the Allegheny County Martial Arts Center emphasizes safety awareness, environmental alertness and practical self-defense techniques.

The lead instructor for this program, Susan Sbuscio, is a professional educator and has taught martial arts to both men and women for over 35 years.

“While including extensive technical instruction, what sets our program apart is our emphasis on awareness and understanding predatory behavior”, says Sbuscio. “We spend a great deal of time discussing how to avoid situations that might lead to a verbal or physical encounter, not just how to handle encounter once it develops.”

Open to woman over the age 16, sessions will be held on Saturday, November 12thand 19th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Allegheny Martial County Arts Center facility, located near the South Park Fairgrounds. The price for the two day event is $30 with discounts for multiple family members or groups.  Participants under the age of 18 will require the permission of a parent.
