Selena Gomez, singer who is also known as Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend, was reportedly in an Arizona rehab facility named Dawn at The Meadows in January of this year, according to a Yahoo! News report on Wednesday. The 21-year-old pop music star was in the facility for two weeks, beginning on Jan. 5.

According to Gomez’ representative, the former Disney star was voluntarily admitted to the rehab facility but asserts that it was not for substance abuse.

Dawn at The Meadows is a rehabilitation facility which promotes itself as serving 18-to-26 year olds who are challenged with addition, as well as emotional trauma, or dual diagnosis concerns.

This revelation comes after Gomez quit her Australian tour in Dec. of 2013 to focus on her own needs. The speculation is that Gomez may have multiple concerns including exhaustion and possibly depression due to failed relationships.

Fans are expressing best wishes for Selena Gomez to bounce back – no matter how long it takes her.
