Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato both made their mark at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
As co-host of the pre-VMA black carpet event, Selena interviewed her longtime friend. Demi talked about her upcoming album, Unbroken, explaining that it would be less pop/rock and more radio-friendly than we've seen from her.
Both ladies looked stunning at the VMAs, and it was difficult to choose whose dress was better.
Gomez wore an stunning black dress that was short and low-cut in the front, but long in the back. Meanwhile, Lovato wore a dazzling tight silver number that would have been equally appropriate for New Year's Eve.
Selena really knows how to strike a balance between sexy and modest, but Demi's dress stands out from a distance. Selena has more of the classic elegance compared to Demi's pizzazz.
In any case, it was nice to see these two acting like BFFs again.
