Today, Selena Gomez shared the news of her band's name, her upcoming album's title, and the date of her latest single's release on Twitter.
First, the star of Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place tweeted "I can't wait for my record!!! Just [so you] know, my band name is Selena Gomez and the Scene. The title of my record is called Kiss & Tell." She went on to explain, "I named my band the Scene because a lot of people are making fun of me calling me a 'wannabe scene,' so I thought I would poke fun of that", adding "Can't beat 'em join 'em! Haha," and "Like I've said many times before. The people that knock me down only make me stronger. :) have a good day! Love you guys!" in tweets posted after the explanation. Earlier, she had said (or tweeted), "My band is amazing. I love them."
Five hours after that, Selena Gomez took to Twitter again to share more musical news: "My single "Falling Down" will premiere on Radio Disney August 21st!!"
