While Selena Gomez has recently made headlines for cursing during a performance before storming off the stage, the starlet recently changed her appearance for a performance at an annual charity concert. For her performance, she ditched her trademark short wig for her performance during the 106.1 Jingle Ball. According to a Dec. 9 report by Just Jared, the singer was spotted at the event showing her long wavy hair.

For the charity event, Selena was in the holiday spirit of giving. Before performing, the rising star took time to pose with fans backstage. The 106.1 Jingle Ball was started to sponsor the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. This foundation strives to inspire young children and adolescents through entertainment and educational outreach. To raise money for the organization, a dollar from each ticket sold is donated to help finance these outreach activities.

Do you think the controversies surround Selena Gomez are justified? Should she have shown more restraint during her outburst?
