Selena Gomez has yet another accolade to put on her resume -- her second Emmy. Her popular Disney Channel show "Wizards of Waverly Place" was honored for Outstanding Children's Program at the Creative Arts ceremony over the weekend -- specifically, it was the TV movie that picked up the award.
The show had plenty of tough competition, including shows from Miley Cyrus ("Hannah Montana"), Miranda Cosgrove ("iCarly"), and the Jonas Brothers ("JONAS"). The movie also managed to beat out the standard "Wizards" TV program, which is rare since you would think that the two of them would cancel each other out.
The Creative Arts Emmys typically hand out a number of trophies that are not able to fit into the standard TV broadcast. The Primetime Emmy Awards show will air August 29 on NBC.
Are you happy for Selena Gomez and company?
