Selena Gomez has set off a slew of plastic surgery rumors after posting an Instagram photo looking bustier than normal. Three plastic surgeons say Gomez definitely got breast implants.
“It appears that Selena has had a breast augmentation," Dr. Jonathan Shifren told Hollywood Life. "The breasts appear fuller and you can see the outline of the upper portion of the implant. My impression from the picture is that she had the operation fairly recently."
Similarly, New York plastic surgeon Dr. Steve Fallek said a recent photo of Gomez wearing a black tank top with no bra confirms she got breast implants.
“The right breast is a dead giveaway [to a boob job],” said Fallek (of photo above). “Way too full and shapely on the top, which can only happen with an implant.”
Went to Rehab For Alleged Drug and Alcohol Abuse
While a celebrity getting plastic surgery is hardly surprising, breast implants fly in the face Gomez's squeaky-clean image. This has been a rough year for Selena.
In addition to multiple press reports that she recently broke up with on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber, Gomez spent two weeks in rehab in February.
Sources told TMZ Selena was treated for addictions to alcohol, pot and the prescription drug Ambien, but her reps denied these allegations.
In December 2013, Gomez abruptly canceled the Asian and Australian legs of her tour. In a statement, she said she needed to take care of herself, but did not elaborate further.
"It has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be," she said.
Diagnosed with Lupus Several Years Ago
In addition, Selena is still battling lupus, which she was diagnosed with several years ago. Lupus is a mysterious autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks normal, healthy tissue.
Symptoms include joint pain, facial swelling, fatigue, inflammation and headaches. It's unclear what exactly causes lupus, and there is no cure, but eating well and getting lots of rest is crucial. Other celebrities who reportedly battle lupus include Anna Gunn, Nick Cannon, Toni Braxton, and Lady Gaga.
