Selena Gomez was served a summons in a case involving Justin Bieber. Selena has been dating Bieber for a couple of years and this would be about the time in a relationship that an engagement ring would be offered, but instead she served legal documents. As the old adage goes, “when you lay down with dogs you get up with fleas” and this couldn’t be a better scenario to attach this saying to.
According to Fox 911 on March 29, Selena was shopping when she was unsuspectedly interrupted by being served legal documents in one of Bieber’s many court cases. This court case has to do with Bieber assaulting a photographer, Jose Duran, at the gated community that houses Bieber and sometimes his derelict friends.
This was back in 2012 and Justin and Selena had left before police arrived. The victim was complaining of pain and wanted medical attention. A misdemeanor battery report was filled out with police at the scene.
This incident happened in 2012, but just think of all the trouble he had in 2013, will Selena’s new role in Bieber’s life be his court partner? Really, this is sad for Selena, after all this time as Bieber’s girlfriend all she has to look forward to is being pulled into court because of her boyfriend’s bratty behavior.
It's sad because Selena, who respects herself enough to keep much of her private life out of the peering eyes of the public, will be on the stand answering questions she might be uncomfortable answering.
According to E News today, Selena may be asked personal questions about her relationship with Bieber. She could be asked if she's witnessed him using drugs, along with all types of other questions that could blow up into a media circus. She can't lie on the stand, it is not an interview where you can sugar coat things, as the court will fish for the facts.
When other women are getting flowers from their boyfriends, Selena gets a summons, how unique this must be for the former “Wizards of Waverly Place” star. Hopefully this is a wake-up call for Selena. Bieber’s slept through every wake-up call to come his way in the last two years.
