Selena Gomez refuses to answer questions about Justin Bieber

Apparently, Selena Gomez and her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber are no longer speaking, and she doesn't want to talk about it.

At a stage-managed press conference in Dubai, all questions related to Bieber were rejected, as 7Days in Dubai reported on September 26, 2013.

The "Come and Get It" singer spent most of the press conference answering questions about her career, her fans, and her transition into becoming an international pop star.

Bieber seems to be an off-limits topic for both Gomez and her BFF, Taylor Swift. Back in May at the Billboard Music Awards, the country superstar conspicuously grimaced when she spotted Gomez and Bieber kissing backstage.

Then, when asked how she felt about Bieber winning the fan-voted Milestone Award, the "22" singer responded, "can we have another question"?

Who could blame Gomez for not wanting to talk about her ex-boyfriend? She's coming off a huge breakup. She shouldn't have to deal with anything that could potentially hinder the healing process. She also deserves the chance to focus on her career and to see what else is out there, both in her career and in dating.
