Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have been friends for several years. Their careers started around the same time, though Gomez first became recognized for her TV role on Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place,” while Taylor’s music blew up the airwaves. Selena is also a singer, but according to a Jan. 22 US Weekly report, Gomez and Swift don’t compare notes about the entertainment industry.
Selena said Taylor became the person she turned to talk about her personal life soon after they met. Swift is the person Gomez goes to with family issues and boyfriend drama. Selena said it’s difficult to trust other girls and she feels very lucky to have Taylor in her life.
Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are very likely depending on each other and their friendship even more these days. Both ladies went through very public breakups earlier this month. Selena ended her on again off again relationship with Justin Bieber, while Taylor’s brief romance with Harry Styles of One Direction came to an end.
