Selena Gomez might not be over Justin Bieber if you go by new song lyrics (Video)

Selena Gomez released her latest song online Saturday night, and now people are starting to read between the lines of her lyrics. Selena’s song “Come & Get It” has her singing about an on-again-off-again relationship that she just can’t quit, according to TMZ on Sunday, April 7. Gomez, 20, infamously split from 19 year-old boyfriend Justin Bieber during a Mexican vacation over the holidays.

Some of the more pertinent lyrics from "Come & Get It" go as follows:

You ain’t gotta worry it’s an open invitation
I’ll be sittin’ right here real patient.
Can’t stop because I love it, hate the way I love you
All day all night maybe I’m addicted for life, no lie.

This love ain’t finished yet…
So baby whenever you’re ready…come and get it.

…This love will be the death of me.

Sources say one problem is Gomez hasn’t made a clean break from Bieber. She apparently stays in contact with him, calling and texting. And it’s not like they haven’t broken up and gotten back together before.

But it is hard to move forward if you keep holding onto the past, and insiders also claim Selena’s actions are to blame for Justin’s bad behavior recently.

TMZ previously reported how people close to the Canadian singer blame Gomez for his recent seeming to spin out of control. They don’t blame friends who are a bad influence or substance abuse, but good old fashioned heartache.

It certainly is hard to get over someone if they’re still in your life. That’s why the “let’s be friends” speech rarely works. It’s one thing if two people mutually realize they don’t love each other anymore, but that doesn't usually happen.

More often, one party loses that loving feeling first, and if you try to stay friends, which is usually a desperate attempt to hold onto that person, you never get over them.

But maybe in this case it goes both ways. After all the latest trouble erupted after Justin was reported hanging around NYC with Victoria’s secret models. Selena didn’t necessarily initiate the breakup, but grew jealous of his flirtatious ways.

When the proverbial you know what hit the fan in Mexico, and the couple reportedly had a huge blowout fight, she may have left him physically but not necessarily in the heart.

Of course there’s no guarantee that Selena’s latest track is actually a reflection of her real life, but she is pals with Taylor Swift after all.
