Disney star, Selena Gomez puts her nice girl image on hold, in her role, in the upcoming movie release, "Spring Breakers." Gomez portrays a college freshman, looking for action and adventure during college spring break. She hooks-up with college roommates, and hangs-out with the wrong crowd, getting herself into some dangerous undertakings, in this coming of age story.
Jan. 17, OK! reports, "Selena and Vanessa star alongside Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine as a group of four teens who decide to rob a supermarket to pay for a holiday away to Florida.
With guns, drugs, sex and plenty of alcohol - there certainly won't be anything Wizardly or teenage about the new movie - which is directed by Harmony Korine."
The films co-star, Ashley Benson, told MTV, "I've never done anything like this. I've never played a character like this," she said. "The movie is incredible, the script was amazing, and it was a really big challenge, and I think that was the most exciting part, to work with these girls."
Spring Breakers, US premiere date 2013, to be announced.
