Selena Gomez is an international superstar but it seems that, like many other young people, she had to leave her parent's home because she just couldn't bring herself to follow their rules. According to an In Touch Weekly article posted on Sunday, April 27, Selena was kicked out of her parents home because she refused to stop seeing Justin Bieber and drinking.
A source told the magazine that Selena's parents told her to stop seeing Justin and drinking. When she refused, they kicked her out of their home. The discord at her family home is what prompted her to buy a $3 million house in Calabasas last month.
After Selena's release from rehab in January, she has spent quite a bit of time with Justin. He has certainly been thinking of what used to be between them lately. On Wednesday, April 23, he posted an old photo of him and Selena on the beach with his younger siblings, giving hope to fans who love the two of them together.
Selena's clash with her mom and stepfather, Mandy and Brian Teefey, over her relationship with Justin and drinking may have also led to her decision to fire them as her managers and replace them with someone new. Her fans likely don't have to worry about her career not progressing as it should however, as her new manager is none other than Bradford Cobb. Bradford also manages Adam Lambert and Katy Perry.
Unfortunately for Selena Gomez, her new home hasn't turned out to be the sanctuary that she wanted. She is reportedly now building a large fence around the property after an intruder tried to get in twice while she was home. The intruder, 20-year-old Che Cruz, got very close in his initial attempt - he was found in Selena's guest house and arrested, only to go back to her property hours after he was released from a seven-day jail stint. Perhaps the security scares will cause Selena to head back to the safety of her parent's place?
