The gorgeous singer selected a design from Blumarine to attend a screening of her film 'Rudderless.' Click here to see the design she wore. The floral and feathered frock was from the Blumarine Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The white organza blouse featured a crisp white pointed collar and full sleeves. Beautiful delicate flowers were embroidered over the entire blouse and due to the sheerness of the fabric a white bra underneath could be seen. I would have loved this blouse paired with some wide legged white pants. Selena wore the design as shown on the runway paired with a nude and white feathered over-the-knee skirt. To me there was just too much going on. The skirt would have looked great with a simple turtleneck in white or nude color. Selena added plain white pumps thank goodness and some small diamond earrings which were not memorable. The 2014 Spring/Summer Blumarine collection was beautifully feminine with lots of flowers and butterflies in muted tones and white. This collection to me would be great for tall models that can showcase the heavily detailed patterns. Selena just does not have enough height to carry the design.
Selena kept her makeup and hair simple which was a good choice. She wore her hair straight down and just added a touch of color with a pink lip shade. This worked well with the soft and delicate nature of the design she selected.
Selena was at the festival alongside one of my favorite ladies Felicity Huffman. Selena posed with director Pascal Vicedomini at the event as well as with other members of the film. Selena looked lovely as always but this was surely not one of my favorite looks for her.
