Selena Gomez was the host at the third annual UNICEF concert on Saturday in New York City. E! Online reported on Jan. 20, the singer sang songs that hinted her feelings over the recent break up relationship with Justin Bieber.
Gomez and Bieber’s on again, off again love relationship finally came to a finale when the couple broke up for good while in Mexico during the holiday in hopes of celebrating a romantic New Years together.
Concertgoers at the Best Buy Theatre heard the starlet sing Justin Timberlake’s, “Cry Me A River,” giving way to hints of her broken heart.
The super star also sang a rendition to Taylor Swift’s song, “I Knew You Were Trouble.”
“It’s by my best friend in the entire world and if anybody has felt anything painful to their heart, they know who this girl is. Sing along if you know it,” the “Spring Breakers” star said to the audience before singing Swift’s heartbreak song.
UNICEF is a program that benefits children worldwide to programs that focus on education, health, and disabilities; in addition to providing necessary food, water and medicine.
