Selena Gomez fist bumps David Letterman over making Justin Bieber cry (Video)

Selena Gomez appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman” Monday night where she took the opportunity to slam former boyfriend Justin Bieber. Letterman asked Selena about the failed relationship while regaling the 20 year-old star with a story about how he made Justin cry. Gomez admitted she’d made him cry too at which point the two celebrities fist bumped each other and laughed, according to a report by Rolling Stone on Tuesday, March 19.

When Selena was probed about the status of her relationship with 19 year-old pop star Justin Bieber, she fessed up that they are indeed splits-ville. Gomez also admitted she’s currently single, as she guested on the “Late Show” to promote her new movie “Spring Breakers”.

“The last time he was on, we got into a conversation, and he said something, and I said something, and he said something, and I said something, and I made him cry”, David Letterman said. Selena snapped right back saying, “Well then, that makes two of us”.

Her response left Letterman laughing along with the studio audience, as the two then proceeded to fist bump each other in celebration of their shared accomplishment. See a clip of the moment by clicking here.

People noted that Gomez hadn’t publicly talked about the breakup until now, and she didn’t seem at all apologetic about the Bieber slam remark. She laughed heartily when Letterman said he made Justin cry, and continued smiling when she said she’d made him cry too.

Justin Bieber might just have plenty to cry about these days besides his split with Selena Gomez. He turned 19 in London on what he called his “worst birthday”, then angered fans and parents alike by being nearly two hours late to take the stage at London's O2 Arena.

Justin had a “fainting spell” at another concert there, and got into a nasty caught-on-camera, obscenity laden shouting match with paparazzi the next day. Bieber then was forced to cancel one of two planned shows in Lisbon, Portugal, allegedly due to slow ticket sales.

Selena Gomez continues to promote her new movie and has been photographed hanging out having a good time with her costars from the film.
