Although some people may look at Selena Gomez's decision to leave "Wizards of Waverly Place" after four seasons as "quitting", the popular Disney Channel star doesn't see it that way. Rather, she explains to Latina.com that it is all part of a natural progression:

"People ask me why I quit and I'm like, I didn't quit! Why would I quit this amazing show when we have such incredible fans? It's what started me.

My older brother on the show is going off to college and my younger brother is going through puberty-so I don't think the show is going to necessarily have anywhere to go after that,"

In addition to shooting a final season of the hit show, Selena is also going to wrap up the series with her second "Wizards of Waverly Place" movie.
