Selena Gomez is making reservations in a new Adam Sandler flick, replacing Miley Cyrus, who checked out of Hotel Transylvania on Wednesday.
Not only will Justin Bieber's girlfriend get to play daughter to the funnyman, but she will simultaneously voice Dracula's kid. That's going to be a bloody good acting job sure to be a challenge for Gomez after her fellow Disney colleague dropped out of the animated film that also stars Cee Lo Green, Kevin James and Adam Samberg.
So what happened to Miley Cyrus? Why did she step down from this much anticipated film that is set to premiere in early fall of 2012?
According to Marc Malkin of E! Entertainment, the former Hannah Montana decided that being a bloodsucker just wasn't the next move she wanted to make. At least that's what one of his source's reports.
In any case, one of Miley's fan club members agrees with information garnered by Malkin.
On Twitter, @WePraiseCyrus also contends that this Disney Princess is wanting to focus on her music, which works well since her fellow Disney Princess, Selena Gomez, is wanting to get away from her music for a while to amp up her acting career. Sounds like a good trade-off, if all truth is told.
Meanwhile, Malkin also reports that Gomez is working her acting chops before voicing Hotel Transylvania by showing up in person to shoot Spring Break on location in Florida with James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens.
While Selena gets busy, it doesn't appear that there's a place for Justin Bieber on this flick so Selena's guy will simply have to stand by. And most likely he will since these starry-eyed youngsters who appear very much in love are usually as close to each other as their schedules allow.
